The perfect nude for my nails is on my lap, right here. It is Essie's Spin The Bottle from their latest spring 2014 collection. Please excuse the look of my nails, they are very far from perfect. I am still dealing with very dry cuticles due to the cold. Well, I stay in Pittsburgh! Okay, I am not complaining!
Essie describes it as a flirty semi-sheer nude and it does so exactly! Spin The Bottle is a light cocoa shade with very tiny pink - peach hues to it. It is a very pretty shade that you can sport on days when you want your nails to be noticed but not noticed! You know what I mean? ;) It is safe to say it is the perfect nude for my tanned, light-brown skin.
The formula is very impressive, and leaves quite an opaque layer with just one coat. It applies easy without any streaks or anything! As with all Essie nail lacquers this too lasted me for 4-5 days with a top coat. And even when it starts chipping, it doesn't make it look bad which is something I really like. I mean you will not have the urge to go and clean your nails immediately! Of course, this is because it is a nude shade.
I have really fallen in love with this nude nail polish and I am afraid this is the beginning of a nude-color obsession! Hello, Spring!
