Is it too early to be talking about Spring? I am sorry if where you live is still cold. But Seattle has been super-nice and sunny since a week putting me in the mood for spring. Also its been quite a while since I wrote a beauty post here, so today I am sharing my top 5 lipsticks for spring – bright and cheerful, most of these are less than 10$, enjoy!
Revlon lip butter: These lip butters were such a rage when they were released and although the craze has come down a bit, they continue to be one of the best lip products. I have this in the shade Sweet Tart, a bright, sheer candy pink which is perfect for the spring. These are one of the most moisturizing lipsticks I’ve tried so far.
TanyaBurr lip gloss: I got this lip gloss last year, but it wasn’t until recently that I started using it more often. This shade – Aurora is a pretty dusty pink with gold shimmer. It has the perfect consistency and looks great just on its own.
Revlon lipstick: I love Revlon lipsticks as they are so affordable and great quality. I have them in a few different shades, but the one perfect for this bright season would have to be – Pink in the afternoon. It is a light, nude pink which is the perfect everyday lipstick for bright days.
Max Factor lipstick: I’ve had this lipstick for ages now, that I don’t think they make this shade – Pink Brandy anymore. But I am head over heels in love with the color, which is a lovely coral pink. The lipstick has medium coverage with a velvety finish and lasts a good 3-4 hours.
Revlon lipgloss: These super lustrous lip glosses are perfect for day time as well as night looks. They are sheer, super shimmery and brighten your lips instantly in a way that is not too over the top. I have this peach shade called Pango Peach and I love wearing it on top of a nude pink or peach lipstick when I am in the mood for some gold shimmer. It definitely adds that extra oomph to the entire look.
